PESHAWAR: A strong earthquake of 5.8 magnitude has jolted several countries, including Pakistan.
According to the details, the earthquake was felt in Pakistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, and Afghanistan.
According to details, tremors were experienced in Swat, Buner, Chitral, Malakand, Hazara, Swabi, Bajaur, Shangla, Dir Bala, Parachinar, Landikotal, Nowshera, and Abbottabad.
The earthquake struck during Iftar, prompting people to gather in open areas while reciting prayers.
According to the National Seismic Monitoring Center of Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), the magnitude of the earthquake was recorded at 5.6 on the Richter scale, and the depth was 73 kilometers.
The seismic center added that the epicenter of the earthquake was located in the Hindu Kush region in Afghanistan
No immediate reports of casualties or damage were reported from any part of the province.
