LAHORE: Increasing load shedding across the country has added to the hardships of citizens immensely.

According to details, the situation in many areas has deteriorated to such an extent that electricity disappears every hour. Citizens say that frequent power outages during the intense heat season have badly affected their daily lives.

According to sources, a clear gap between electricity production and demand, fuel shortage and technical problems are the main reasons for this crisis.

The duration of load shedding is being said to be longer in urban areas as well as rural areas, due to which business activities are also being severely affected. Small industrialists and shopkeepers say that their businesses have reached the brink of collapse due to unannounced power shutdowns.

On the other hand, government circles are of the opinion that steps are being taken to improve the situation, including plans to increase electricity production and improve the system. However, the public says that it is not possible to overcome this crisis without immediate and effective measures.

According to experts, if a timely strategy is not adopted, this crisis could intensify further in the coming days, which would adversely affect not only the economy but also public life.
