MUZAFFARABAD: A significant development has come to light in the political activities of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir, where a high-level delegation of Pakistan Muslim League (N) met former President Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan and his family and formally invited him to join the PML-N.
The delegation included Federal Minister Rana Sanaullah Khan, Federal Minister Engineer Amir Muqam, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Member National Assembly Anjum Aqeel Khan, former Member National Assembly Chaudhry Abid Raza, President Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir Shah Ghulam Qadir, Dr. Najeeb Naqi Khan, Barrister Iftikhar Gilani, Chaudhry Abdul Rehman Arain, and Chaudhry Tariq Farooq.
The delegation met former Presidents of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan, Raja Qaiser Zulqarnain Khan, and Raja Babar Ali Zulqarnain Khan at their residence, ‘Haft Chinar’ in Islamabad. On this occasion, the delegation invited the Raja Zulqarnain family to formally join the Pakistan Muslim League (N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
During the meeting, Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan and his family members, after consulting their political colleagues, gave a positive indication for formal joining the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
On this occasion, Rana Sanaullah Khan also conveyed a message of good wishes to former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan on behalf of the leader of the Muslim League (N) Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Former President of Azad Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan warmly welcomed Rana Sanaullah Khan, Engineer Amir Muqam, Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, and other members of the delegation and thanked them for inviting him to join the Pakistan Muslim League (N).
Raja Muhammad Zulqarnain Khan, while talking, said that he has had long-standing relations with the Sharif family, while Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif have played an exemplary role in the construction and development of Pakistan and Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
