Expired juice reportedly kills four family members on motorway: Details inside

LAHORE: The mystery of the death of 4 members of the same family from Lahore, whose bodies were found in a car on the motorway near Bhera, has been solved.

According to the details, in this tragic incident, four victims, including three women and a young child, were found dead in a parked car on the M-2 motorway on Friday morning. The family was traveling from Lahore to Islamabad when their journey ended in tragedy.

Rescue 1122 pulled out the lifeless bodies from the vehicle while the driver Umar Qasim was found unconscious who was immediately shifted to the hospital.

As per the rescue sources, the family hailed from McLeod Road, Lahore, and was traveling in a car with registration number LEF 7339. The victims were identified as 55-year-old Romaila, 30-year-old Maher, 25-year-old Samar, and 6-year-old Aun Ali.

After regaining consciousness, Umar Qasim informed the police that he had consumed juice during the journey after which he lost consciousness. Police recovered empty juice boxes from the car, which were found to be expired.

The bodies have been sent to THQ Hospital Bhalwal for further investigation.
