Federal govt declares public holiday on Pakistan’s Independence Day

ISLAMABAD: The federal government has announced a public holiday across the country on August 14 on the occasion of Pakistan’s Independence Day.

On the other hand, banks and all financial institutions across the country will also remain closed on August 14. A statement has been issued in this regard by the State Bank of Pakistan.

The statement said that all banks and financial institutions will remain closed on Wednesday, August 14.

On this occasion, all government offices and educational institutions across the country will also have a public holiday.
