Final Day of Eid ul-Adha spreads joy across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: The celebrations of the last day of Eid-ul-Adha continue with social gatherings as people prepare for family outings and feasts.

The third day of Eid is being celebrated with enthusiasm across the country. Some are performing the ritual of sacrifice while the public is also engaged in several social and recreational activities.

Families are hosting guests with traditional dishes. Many households have hired professional chefs to ensure a delicious dining experience for their guests.

Those who completed the sacrifices in the first two days of Eid are now busy meeting relatives, socializing with friends and giving a warm welcome to guests.

Parks, entertainment venues and shopping centers are crowded as families, youth and children enjoy getting out and about taking advantage of the holiday, adding to the festive spirit. The enthusiastic crowd and vibrant atmosphere during Eid celebrations reflect the shared joy and communal harmony of the nation.

Hospitals across the country are seeing a sharp increase in gastroenteritis cases as many residents developed severe symptoms after eating too much meat during Eid. More than 9,000 patients have reached government hospitals reporting symptoms like diarrhea, vomiting, stomach pain.

Medical authorities are appealing to the public to take precautions to avoid foodborne illnesses during the festival.
