PESHAWAR: The Ruet Hilal Committee Peshawar has announced that the first Roza of Ramadan 2025 will be observed on March 02, 2025, in Pakistan.
According to the committee, the moon of Ramadan 2025 has not been sighted in Pakistan. In the major cities of Pakistan including Islamabad, Lahore, and Karachi no witnesses of moon sightings were observed.
The committee, chaired by Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad, included members from the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Pakistan Meteorological Department, and The Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission.
Zonal members from major cities like Islamabad, Lahore, Karachi, and Quetta contributed to their deliberations and announced collectively that Ramadan 2025 will begin in Pakistan on March 02.
