ISLAMABAD: The Federal Directorate of Education (FDE) in Islamabad has officially announced the revised school timings for the holy month of Ramadan 2025.
According to the notification, all schools and colleges in Islamabad, the morning shifts will run from Monday to Thursday at 8:00 am to 12:30 pm, and on Fridays, from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm.
Evening shift schools will operate somewhat differently, with hours being 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and from 12:30 pm to 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm.
Similarly, the Punjab education department has also revised the timings for all education institutions. One-session schools will work from 8:30 am to 1:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and Fridays, from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm.
For twin-shift schools, first-shift classes shall be held from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and second-shift classes from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm, Monday through Thursday, and on Fridays from 2:30 pm to 4:00 pm.
In Sindh, the Single-session schools will be operating from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. These measures aim to provide relief to students and all teaching faculty during the month of fasting.
