First total Lunar Eclipse of 2026 to be observed today

ISLAMABAD: The first total lunar eclipse of the year will occur today. In Pakistan, the lunar eclipse will begin at 1:44 PM. The Meteorological Department announced that the lunar eclipse in Pakistan will begin at 2:50 PM.

The total lunar eclipse will begin at 4:05 PM and reach its highest point at 4:34 PM. The total eclipse will begin to end at 5:03 PM, the partial eclipse will conclude at 6:17 PM, and the lunar eclipse will completely end at 7:23 PM.

The lunar eclipse will be visible from Asia, Australia, North America, South America, and other parts of the world.
