Flour prices increase across Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Flour has become more expensive across the country. A bag of 20 kg flour has reached Rs 3,000, with citizens of Bannu and Peshawar forced to buy the most expensive flour.

According to the Federal Bureau of Statistics, the price of a 20 kg bag of flour in Bannu and Peshawar has reached Rs 3,000. In Islamabad, a bag of 20 kg flour is available for Rs 2,960.

In Rawalpindi, a bag of 20 kg flour is being sold for Rs 2,933, in Quetta for Rs 2,850, in Hyderabad for Rs 2,760 and in Karachi for Rs 2,700.

In Sargodha, a bag of 20 kg flour has reached Rs 2,667, in Multan, Faisalabad, Sukkur and Khuzdar the price of a bag of 20 kg flour is Rs 2,600.

In Sialkot, a 20-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs. 2,540, in Bahawalpur, a 20-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs. 2,506, in Larkana, a 20-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs. 2,500, and in Gujranwala, a 20-kilogram bag of flour is being sold for Rs. 2,467.

The citizens of Lahore are buying a 20-kilogram bag of flour at the lowest price, where flour is being sold for Rs. 1,850 per 20-kilogram bag.
