LAKKI MARWAT: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Lakki Marwat district on the intervening night of February 18-19, 2026, in which 4 terrorists belonging to the Indian-backed Fitna-ul-Kharij were killed.

According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), during the operation, security forces effectively targeted the hideout of the terrorists.

After a fierce exchange of fire, 4 Khawarij were killed. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the slain terrorists.

The statement said that the slain terrorists were involved in several sabotage operations in the area. In view of the fear of the presence of more terrorists, clearance and search operations are underway in the area.

According to the ISPR, under the vision ‘Determination of Stability’ approved by the Federal Apex Committee under the National Action Plan, security forces and law enforcement agencies will continue their operations with full force until the complete elimination of foreign-sponsored terrorism from the country.
