KARACHI: A man killed his friend over a dispute over not serving tea in Shahr-e-Quaid.
According to the police, a fight broke out between two friends Abbas and Jahanzeb at a hotel in Saddar yesterday. When the argument escalated, the accused Abbas attacked him with a sharp weapon. As a result, Jahanzeb died on the spot.
The accused had fled after the incident, however, Saddar police took action and solved the mystery of the murder and arrested the accused Abbas.
Police say that the deceased Jahanzeb was a rickshaw driver, while the arrested accused Abbas sells fruits on a cart in Saddar area.
According to the SSP South, the accused has been handed over to the Investigation Police for further investigation. While investigations into various aspects of the incident are ongoing.
