Gas Leak triggers house explosion in Shams colony Islamabad, 5 injured

ISLAMABAD: A massive explosion occurred in a house under the limits of Shams Colony police station due to gas leakage, injuring five people.

The explosion was so severe that the walls and roof of the house collapsed. According to the Capital Emergency Service, the injured include a man, two women and two children.

Rescue teams immediately reached the spot after the incident and started rescue operations.

Rescue officials said that two people have sustained minor injuries, while three injured have been shifted to the hospital. Further investigation into the incident is underway.
