ISLAMABAD: Overseas Pakistanis can now obtain police character certificates, renew their passports, and verify all documents online.
The federal police have launched the Global PKM application. DG Safe City Islamabad Haroon Joiya said that all services previously available at Pakistan’s Khidmat Centers are now being provided online to overseas Pakistanis.
Haroon Joiya said that the PKM application introduction represents a significant achievement for digital governance systems. The facility has been extended to Pakistani embassies and consulates in more than 40 countries.
Police character certificates will be verified through the employer verification feature in the app. The DG Safe City said overseas Pakistanis will be able to access all Khidmat Center services through the app, including employee verification.
