Govt declares April 5-6 holidays for Easter

KARACHI: The provincial government of Sindh has declared April 5 and 6 (Sunday and Monday) as official holidays.

According to a notification issued with the approval of Chief Secretary Sindh Asif Haider Shah, Christian employees across the province will have a holiday on April 5 and 6 on the occasion of Easter.

According to the notification, all government and semi-government institutions in Sindh will remain closed on Sunday and Monday, while local councils and corporations will also have a holiday.
