LAHORE: Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said India’s RAW was involved in the Pahalgam bloodshed.

Addressing a press conference in Lahore on Saturday, Naqvi said India’s spy agency RAW and the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) were involved in several incidents of terrorism.

He said India did not even condemn the Pahalgam incident and instead blamed Pakistan for the massacre. He stressed the need for an impartial international investigation.

Earlier in the day, Prime Minister Shehbaz demanded an impartial international investigation into the Pahalgam incident, which claimed the lives of 27 tourists in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and said the neighbouring country levelled baseless allegations against Pakistan after the attack.

Addressing the passing out parade at the Pakistan Military Academy Kakul, the prime minister highlighted that Pakistan is a frontline state against terrorism.

He warned that Pakistan would give a befitting reply if India withholds water in violation of the Indus Waters Treaty. He added that there should be no misunderstanding.

Sharif said that Pakistan has always rejected terrorism in all its forms, pointing out that it is the country most affected by this scourge in the world.

He said that we have lost 90,000 citizens and incurred losses of billions of dollars due to terrorism.

He said that Pakistan, as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council, is keen to promote peace and security throughout the world and will continue its efforts in this regard.
