KARACHI: Pakistan Awam Raj Tehreek chief Iqrar-ul-Hassan has apologized to PTI founder Imran Khan.

In a video message released on social networking website X (formerly Twitter), Iqrar-ul-Hassan said that we sacrifice thousands of animals on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, but despite this sacrifice, we neither learn nor think.

He said that we do many such things in our lives that we can prove right through discussions and arguments, but in our hearts we know that that thing is not right, that thing should not be said.

Iqrar-ul-Hassan said that I have said many such things in the past regarding Imran Khan’s personal life and decisions. As a fan, I was personally disappointed with his decisions, but my conscience tells me that despite political differences, I should not have said such things.

The head of the Pakistan Awam Raj Tehreek said that today, on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, I am sacrificing my ego and unconditionally apologizing to Imran Khan, his family and his fans.

Iqrar-ul-Hassan said that I wish that when Imran Khan is released from jail, I will also apologize to him. Imran Khan should not criticize him while he is in jail.

Talking on PTI’s social media, he said that while social media is the strength of PTI, it is also its weakness. I request PTI to consider its actions and review its behavior.

He said that you did not say anything to my family for two years, I tolerated it, you launched a campaign to unfollow and block, it did not matter, but today I am sacrificing my ego of my own free will. Let’s think about Pakistan, let’s talk about the people of Pakistan.
