ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar has said that 20 more Pakistani-flagged ships have been allowed to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, 2 ships will cross the Strait of Hormuz daily.
In a statement, he said that this move by Iran is welcome and constructive, which should be appreciated, this progress is a precursor to promoting peace and stability in the region.
Ishaq Dar said that this positive announcement is an important step towards peace that will strengthen collective efforts.
He said that negotiations, diplomacy and confidence-building are the only way forward.
