Iran allows Pakistani ships safe passage through Strait of Hormuz

TEHRAN: Iran has granted special permission to two Pakistani ships to pass through the Strait of Hormuz.

According to a private TV Channel quoting shipping sources, the PNSC ship Multan and the charter ship P Aliki have left the Strait of Hormuz. Shipping sources said that the charter ship P Aliki is carrying 85 million liters of crude oil and both ships will reach Pakistan on March 31.

Both ships were stranded in the Persian Gulf for a month after the war began. Both ships started their journey to Hormuz from near the Gulf countries yesterday.

It should be noted that Pakistani ships have passed through the Strait of Hormuz before and Iran had given special permission.
