ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Indian Minister of External Affairs Subrahmanyam Jaishankar held a rare meeting during the CO Heads of Government meeting in Islamabad.
According to reports, the meeting took place at a reception given by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for the leaders of the SCO countries.
On India’s request, FM Dar’s seat was adjusted to Jaishankar’s while the two leaders were debating. The details of the conversation are yet to be disclosed but the meeting is said to have been held in a cordial mood.
The Indian Foreign Minister has left for India after attending the SCO Conference. He thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Dar for the excellent hospitality.
