Islamabad traffic plan for PTI power show at Sangjani

ISLAMABAD: Ahead of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rally in Islamabad, authorities have announced a comprehensive traffic plan to ensure smooth access to the event. The rally is scheduled to take place in Sangjani, on the outskirts of the capital city.

For residents of Islamabad, the recommended routes to the rally are via Margalla Avenue or Iran Avenue.

Those traveling from Rawalpindi can use Dhamial Road or Girja Road to reach the Thalian or Chakri Interchange on the M2 motorway, and then proceed to the venue via Paswal Road from the AWT Interchange.

Alternative Routes For Attendees 

  •  G.T. Road and Peshawar Gujar Khan: Use G.T. Road to Rawat, then take Chakbeli Road to the Chakri Interchange and continue on the M2.
  • KPK (via M1): Use AWT Interchange and then Paswal Road to reach the venue.
  • Wah Cantt: Travel via Brahma Jhang Bahtar Interchange on M1, then take AWT Interchange and Paswal Road.
  • Murree: Follow Shahpur Road/Phulgaran Road to Khana Pull, then continue via Lethrar Road, Rawat T Chowk, Chakbeli Road, and Chakri Interchange to join the M2.

Note that all other routes from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Punjab will be closed during the event. Attendees are advised to follow the designated routes to avoid inconvenience.
