ISLAMABAD: In anticipation of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) rally in Islamabad’s Sangjani area, local authorities have enforced strict measures to maintain law and order.
As of now, all hotels, guesthouses, and restaurants within the Sangjani police station’s jurisdiction have been ordered to remain closed until September 9.
In addition, this directive, issued by police officials, prohibits the provision of accommodation, food, or any other edible items during this period.
The police spokesperson warned that non-compliance with these orders would result in severe consequences. This move is part of the efforts to ensure a peaceful and secure environment for the rally, which aims to showcase PTI’s political strength.
Notably, the district administration has granted conditional approval for the rally, stipulating that it must conclude by 7 pm and not disrupt business or public movement.
With PTI leadership having already visited the venue and preparations being complete, the stage is set for a significant political gathering in Islamabad today.
