E-stamp papers to be issued for smooth property transactions In Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The capital administration has decided to issue e-stamp papers in Islamabad.

According to the administration, e-stamp paper will replace manual stamp paper in transactions involving real estate and other matters.

Irfan Nawaz Memon, the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad, met with the Punjab Bank representative in this regard.

Briefing regarding e-stamping is also given to the DC by the representatives of the bank.

The DC stated that computerized stamp paper will soon be available to the people of Islamabad. He also said that a barcode makes it simple to verify the e-stamp paper.
