FIRs to be filed against one-wheeling in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad Traffic Police have decided to take strict action against those involved in one-wheeling or other traffic violations in the federal capital, here on Monday.

As per the details, it has been decided to register an FIR on one-wheeling in Islamabad. A meeting was held under the supervision of Chief Traffic Officer Muhammad Sarfaraz Work in which SP Traffic, all DSPs, traffic inspectors, and BAT officers attended.

During the meeting, the Chief Traffic Officer directed that strict legal action be taken against those violating traffic rules and FIR be registered against those involved in one-wheel riding and racing.

He also directed that strict legal action be taken against those who seriously violate traffic rules.

CTO Muhammad Sarfaraz Work also reprimanded BAT officers for their poor performance and praised those who performed well.

He directed the traffic police personnel to ensure smooth traffic flow.
