Synoptic Situation

Continental air is prevailing over most parts of the country. A trough of shallow westerly wave is likely to enter the western and upper parts of the country from the 13th (evening/night).

PMD Warning

Very hot weather is likely to prevail over most plain areas of the country on 12th and 13th June. Day temperatures are likely to remain 02°C to 04°C above normal. The general public is advised to take precautionary measures.
