Istehkam-e-Pakistan party establishes parliamentary board for Gilgit-Baltistan elections 2026

GILGIT BALTISTAN: Lahore: The Istehkam-e-Pakistan party has established a parliamentary board for the distribution of party tickets for the general elections of the Gilgit-Baltistan Assembly 2026. An official notification in this regard was issued on April 21, 2026.

According to the notification, the parliamentary board has been formed in consultation with the party president, who will have the authority to select candidates and approve tickets in the upcoming elections.

The important members of the parliamentary board include Abdul Aleem Khan, Mian Khalid Mahmood, Aun Chaudhry, Munza Hassan, Gul Asghar Baghor, Syed Samsam Bukhari, and others.

Apart from this, the board also includes GG Jamal, Rana Nazir Ahmed, Chaudhry Zaheeruddin, Chaudhry Norris Shakir, Syed Rafaqat Ali Gilani, Raja Yawar Kamal, Mamoon Jafar Tarar, Haji Gulbar Khan, Raja Jalal Hussain, Shamsul Haq Lone, Fatehullah Khan, M Shoaib Siddiqui, Ghazanfar Abbas China, and Malik Zaman Naseeb.

According to the notification, this decision will come into effect immediately, while the party leadership has termed this move as part of the systematic preparation for the elections.
