ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Police issued a traffic advisory because development work continues, which affects the Margalla Enclave underpass on Park Road.
The advisory informs drivers about potential traffic jams that will create delays throughout the vicinity. The advisory states that vehicles traveling from Rawal Dam Chowk toward Taramari will be redirected through NIH Road.
Traffic will continue through Mohra Noor until it reaches Park Road again. Commuters who travel from Taramari to Rawal Dam Chowk will be directed to use Chai Khana and CDA Nursery along with two temporary pathways, which run next to the iron grill until they reach Park Road.
The Islamabad Police have recommended that drivers should take Lehtrar Road, Khanna Pul, and Islamabad Expressway as their detour options, which will help them reach their destinations faster while avoiding traffic congestion at the construction area.
The authorities announced that Park Road will experience continual heavy traffic until the construction project finishes. The authorities advised citizens to schedule their travel 20 to 30 minutes before their actual travel time.
The traffic police officers will stay at their posts to manage traffic flow while they assist people who need to travel through the area. The traffic helpline at 1915 and emergency number 15 provide citizens with access to real-time traffic updates and additional traffic guidance.
