Multan Sultan Bidding

The auction for the Multan Team of Pakistan Super League (PSL), which previously played as Multan Sultans, has been completed, and the team has been sold for Rs2.45 billion at Lahore’s Expo Center on Monday.

The Multan Sultan team’s rights have been acquired by Walee Tech for the next ten years.

According to the sources, five qualified bidders participated for the rights of Multan Sultans for the next 10 years. The bid corssed Rs2billion, achieving a milestone in PSL history.

The Multan Sultans franchise from the Pakistan Super League(PSL) went for auction today in Lahore for high-stakes bidding. The auction was set to decide who would buy the team after the PCB opened bidding following the end of the last ownership deal.

Five qualified bidders competed at the event to acquire bidding rights. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) took control of the franchise after the previous deal expired on December 31, 2025.

Interest in the sale soared after record prices for two new PSL teams raised expectations for Multan Sultans. Multiple companies from Pakistan and international markets are now competing to acquire ownership of the team.
