King Abdullah II of Jordan arrived in Islamabad on two-day official visit

ISLAMABAD: King Abdullah II of Jordan has arrived in Islamabad on a visit to Pakistan, where he was accorded a grand welcome.

Upon his arrival in Islamabad, President Asif Ali Zardari, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcomed King Abdullah II and his high-level delegation at the airport.

Abdullah II’s visit to Pakistan reflects the long-standing brotherly relations between Jordan and Pakistan.

This visit will further strengthen the political, economic and cultural ties between the two countries.

King Abdullah II is currently at the Prime Minister’s House where he is being presented with a guard of honour.

After this, Abdullah II will have a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at the Prime Minister’s House and will also meet at the delegation level.

This visit of King Abdullah II will further strengthen the long-standing relations between Pakistan and Jordan and will help in expanding the scope of bilateral cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
