Public holiday announced on coming Monday

NAWABSHAH: In a recent development, a public holiday has been declared in Nawabshah on Monday, 17 November.

According to a notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, there will be a public holiday in Nawabshah on Monday, November 17, on the occasion of the Urs of Hazrat Syed Asghar Ali Shah, also known as Sakhi Jam Datar.

According to the notification issued by the district administration, all government offices, educational institutions, and public departments will remain closed on Monday, November 17.

The district administration and police authorities have completed special arrangements for security, traffic, and cleanliness on the occasion of the Urs.

The three-day official celebrations of the annual Urs of Sakhi Jam Datar will continue in Jam Sahib city from November 17 to November 19.

It should be noted that after the Sunday holiday, students and citizens will be able to enjoy two holidays at once.
