PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government announced distribution of salaries and pensions to all serving and retired employees by January 31 ahead of the weekend holidays.
As February 1 would fall on Saturday–a public holiday, therefore, the government intended paying the workers and pensioners in time.
To this effect, the finance department issued orders to make payment of salaries and pensions in advance before holidays on February 1 and 2. A circular was sent to the administrative officers of the government departments in this regard, asking them to make the payment accordingly.
