To this effect, the finance department issued orders to make payment of salaries and pensions in advance before holidays on February 1 and 2. A circular was sent to the administrative officers of the government departments in this regardasking them to make the payment accordingly.

This is likely to bring respite to the employees and pensioners who were anxious over receiving the payment in time.

Recently, the KP Finance Department issued a warning to government employees against their attendance and more so about official working hours, reminding them of strict attendance from 9 AM to 5 PM.

The government is ensuring accountability of the employees regarding their attendance and performance. It is also pertinent to mention here that the KP government announced a 10 percent increase in salaries and pensions of the government employees in its provincial budget for fiscal 2024-25.
