LAHORE: Unknown assailants shot and killed Teefi Butt’s brother-in-law Javed Butt in Lahore, here on Monday.
It should be noted that Teefi Butt is the main suspect in the Ameer Balaj murder case.
Firing took place near Muslim Town underpass in Ichhra area. SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar reached the spot with a heavy contingent of police.
According to the police, Muhammad Javed Butt died on the spot due to gunshots, while the victim’s wife was injured in the firing and has been shifted to the hospital.
The daughter of deceased Javed Butt, who was in the car, was safe. The deceased Javed Butt was the brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, the main accused in the Ameer Balaj murder case.
SP Model Town Ikhlaq Ullah Tarar said that investigation into the incident has been started.
