LHC rejects petition to raise minimum wages

LAHORE: The Lahore High Court (LHC) has declared a petition to increase the minimum wage in Pakistan to $1,000 inadmissible.

Chief Justice of the Lahore High Court, Justice Alia Neelam, heard Fahmid Nawaz’s petition, in which she declared the petition inadmissible.

Justice Alia Neelam said that the petition is not admissible; this is not the place to publish news in newspapers.
