Lt. Gen. Asif Ghafoor retires from Pakistan Army

ISLAMABAD: Lieutenant General Asif Ghafoor, the former director general (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), bid farewell on Monday after a glittering 40-year career in the Pakistan Army.

Known for his outspoken press conferences, Ghafoor was a prominent spokesperson during the 2019 Pakistan-India standoff.
