Man declared dead in records despite being alive in Punjab

CHINIOT: A citizen of Chiniot, Punjab, was found dead in NADRA records despite being alive.

According to a private TV, Khalil Ahmed died in 2013 in NADRA records in Chiniot. He has also been declared deceased in the Union Council.

The citizen says that his mobile SIMs and bank accounts have been closed and he cannot do business. Khalil Ahmed said that action should be taken against the person who made the fake death certificate.

Khalil Ahmed says that business affairs are severely affected due to the failure to update the records.

NADRA issued a new identity card to the citizen, but the UC record has not been updated yet.
