NADRA launches First Women-Only Center in South Punjab

NADRA announces Eid-ul-Azha holidays schedule

ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has inaugurated its first Women Registration Centre (WRC) in Dera Ghazi Khan, a city in southern Punjab.

The facility provides a safe, comfortable and dignified environment where women can easily access all registration-related services.

Located in Mall of DG Khan, Garden Town, Multan Road, the centre is designed to empower women by providing them with a safe place to obtain identity documents such as CNICs, family registration certificates, and child registration forms without any hesitation.

NADRA officials highlighted that these documents are more than just papers. They represent a woman’s financial independence, property rights, and political identity. Through this initiative, NADRA aims to promote inclusion and ensure that every woman in southern Punjab can establish her legal identity with dignity.

The new Women’s Registration Center is part of NADRA’s broader efforts to expand gender-sensitive services across Pakistan, helping women gain easier access to national registration and social empowerment opportunities.
