LAHORE: Senior Punjab provincial minister Maryam Aurangzeb paid a surprise visit to hospitals disguised as a common citizen.
During her visit, Maryam Aurangzeb visited Jinnah Hospital and Children’s Hospital, passing through various counters like a normal patient. She inspected the wards and reviewed the cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities.
The provincial minister also reviewed the availability of doctors and medical staff in the hospitals. Moreover, she inquired about the availability of free medicines and the quality of treatment provided to the relatives of the patients.
The move is part of the government’s efforts to ensure better health services and address any loopholes in the public health system.
