ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has sought feedback from pilgrims who performed Hajj under private operators last year.

The Ministry of Religious Affairs has sought feedback from private pilgrims last year to address their complaints.

According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, pilgrims performing Hajj should submit their complaints, objections, or suggestions against private companies by July 20.

The spokesperson said that pilgrims should send signed complaints with proofs and documentary evidence. The complaints received will be examined according to the prescribed procedure.

The statement said that the decision on the licenses of companies will now be based on performance. Complaints will be taken into account in the process of renewal and cancellation of licenses.

The spokesperson said that the Ministry of Religious Affairs has obtained a 5 percent performance guarantee from the companies. Pilgrims should send complaints by post or email by July 20. Complaints received after that will not be admissible.
