ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has said that she prays that the new Islamic year be a messenger of peace and security, tranquility and unity and unity for the Muslim Ummah.

In her message on the beginning of the new Hijri year, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she prays that the new Islamic year brings a message of peace and security and tranquility, she prays that the new Hijri year be a messenger of unity and unity for the Muslim Ummah.

She said that she prays that the new Islamic year 1448 Hijri is a year of peace and development for Pakistan, she prays that the new Hijri year brings every year of prosperity, happiness and peace.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif said that she prays that the new Hijri year be a source of mercy and blessing for Pakistan, the Pakistani nation and the Muslim world.

He said that Muharram reminds us of the great sacrifice of the grandson of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (RA). The philosophy and sacrifice of Sayyiduna Imam Hussain (RA) reward the oppressed of every era and challenge the oppressor.

The Chief Minister of Punjab appealed to the people not to show differences and divisions during Muharram, but to adopt tolerance and forbearance.

Maryam Nawaz further said that extraordinary arrangements and security measures are being made to ensure peace and order during Muharram in Punjab.
