ISLAMABAD: National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) is allowing women in Pakistan to get their CNIC without a birth certificate from 9th to 13th March.
The campaign, which begins on International Women’s Day, seeks to assist women in obtaining their official identification documents.
Women’s CNIC without birth certificate registration will help women access education, banking, voting, and government services. Officials say NADRA will dedicate 50% of counters at all offices exclusively for women.
The special help desk will assist women throughout their registration process. First-time applicants and women without a birth certificate can benefit from these steps.
A NADRA spokesperson declared that “this campaign ensures every woman can obtain her legal ID.” Authorities encourage women who have not registered or lost their CNICs to participate.
Women CNIC without birth certificate registration ensures every woman can claim her rights and civic protections. The drive also aims to increase women’s registration across Pakistan. Officials encourage families and communities to notify women about this opportunity.
The law defines CNIC possession as both a legal entitlement and a civic obligation. Officials predict the campaign will boost women’s registration significantly.
The dedicated counters and staff support will make the process easier for women who previously faced difficulties registering. Women CNIC without birth certificate registration helps them gain access to social protection programs nationwide.
