KARACHI: The NADRA center in Karachi, the capital of Sindh, will remain closed for two weeks as expansion and renovation works are underway.

In a recent update, the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) announced the closure of its Awami Markaz Registration Center in Karachi for two weeks, for 14 days.

A notification shared by NADRA’s Regional Head Office Karachi said that the center will remain closed from Sunday, July 14, to July 27, 2025, due to ongoing expansion and renovation works. The closure is part of NADRA’s efforts to upgrade its facilities and improve service delivery to citizens.

To ensure that citizens continue to receive uninterrupted services, a Mobile Registration Van (MRV) has been placed near the Awami Markaz. Citizens are encouraged to visit the van during specific working hours so that they can avail essential NADRA services, including CNIC registration and renewal.

NADRA even advised the public to cooperate during this temporary closure and utilize the mobile facility for their urgent registration needs.

The public is advised to follow the official social media channels of NADRA Regional Head Office Karachi.
