ISLAMABAD: NADRA has made it easier to obtain a succession certificate as now the applicant can apply for the certificate at any NADRA centre across the country on Tuesday.
NADRA’s 186 Succession Facilitation Centres will now receive applications from every province, these centres are set up in Islamabad, Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Gilgit-Baltistan. Legal heirs can get biometric verification done at any NADRA centre, the biometric verification facility is already available on the mobile app “PAK ID”.
As per the previous procedure, the application for a succession certificate was accepted only in the province where the property is located. According to NADRA officials, NADRA headquarters has issued a notification of the new procedure to all the centres concerned.
