BEIJING: The Pakistan Embassy in Beijing, on Wednesday, marked Youm-e-Istehsal Kashmir (Day of Exploitation) in a dignified and solemn ceremony, which attested Pakistan’s unstinting support for the Kashmir cause based on inherent right to self-determination of the people of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).

The function was inaugurated with the recitation of messages sent by the President of Pakistan, Prime Minister, and Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, which focused on Indian actions in the last six years to change the demographic and political face of IIOJK.

Their messages reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering political, moral, and diplomatic support for Kashmir and its people.
Mr. Bilal Mahmood Chaudhary, Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy, delivered his remarks.

He strongly condemned India’s hegemonic policies and persistent violations of international law, highlighting New Delhi’s blatant disregard for United Nations Security Council resolutions and impunity in perpetrating oppressive measures in IIOJK.

The ceremony involved the screening of a video documentary depicting India’s illegal and unilateral activities, particularly since August 5, 2019, that presented extensive human rights abuses, systematic demographic alterations, and atrocities perpetrated against innocent Kashmiris at the hands of the Indian illegal occupation.

Adding to the pictorial coverage, a photo exhibition was organized, capturing the continued sufferings the Kashmiri nation has had to bear.
