ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) requested all residents to erase computerized national identity cards (CNICs) for dead family members.
In an alert, NADRA asked residents to visit their local facility or use the Pak ID mobile app to update their family records.
Even though 7 million deaths were registered in union councils in March 2025, their ID cards were not deleted according to NADRA statistics.
