ISLAMABAD: The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has indicated the possibility of additional fees and penalties for CNICs and children’s B-forms after the budget.
According to details, the NADRA has warned citizens to complete the process of renewing their overdue National CNICs and registering children’s B-forms by June 30, 2026.
The authority has indicated that additional fees or penalties are likely to be imposed on these services after the budget for the new financial year 2026-27.
NADRA’s instructions to citizens In a recent statement issued by NADRA, citizens have been urged to approach NADRA offices in a timely manner to avoid any financial burden in the future.
The statement specifically instructed parents that: Children whose B-forms have not yet been made should be registered immediately. Children whose age for Smart ID cards has reached the age limit for Smart ID cards should have their B-forms converted into cards in a timely manner.
NADRA has hinted that the fee structure may be revised after the new financial budget.
Officials say that citizens who fail to register on time may face possible penalties, so citizens should complete their and their children’s documents before the end of June to avoid any additional fees or legal complications.
