National Assembly begins session to approve 27th Constitutional Amendment

ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly session has begun, the Law Minister Azam Naseer Tarar presented a motion to approve the 27th Constitutional Amendment in the Assembly, and an 11-point agenda will be considered in the session.

Earlier, the 27th Constitutional Amendment was passed by a two-thirds majority in the Senate, with 64 members voting in favor of the constitutional amendment, and no votes against the amendment.

It should be noted that the opposition parties boycotted the process of approving the 27th Constitutional Amendment in the Senate, with PTI Senator Saifullah Abro and JUI Senator Ahmed Khan supporting the constitutional amendment.
