ISLAMABAD: Four hotels in the federal capital have been granted permission to sell alcohol under specific conditions, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said while answering a question in the national Assembly.
Mohsin Naqvi added that liquor licenses have been issued to four hotels with strict conditions.
The Hotel management must inform the excise department within seven days of any liquor consignment’s arrival.
The minister said that the rate for an L2 liquor license is Rs500,000, with an annual renewal costing Rs150,000. These licenses are subject to all applicable rules.
The excise officer has the right to terminate a liquor license at any moment without providing a justification, ensuring that permits are properly enforced.
