Meteorological Department Weather Forecast

The Meteorological Department on Sunday issued a monsoon weather alert for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Punjab regarding heavy rain, cloudburst, and river flooding.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) and the Meteorological Department have warned against the active monsoon system in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir, and Punjab that heavy rain is possible in Mardan, Shangla, Buner, Swat, Mansehra, Peshawar, and other areas.

Heavy rain with thundershowers is also possible in Abbottabad, Battagram, Kohistan, as well as Kashmir’s Neelum Valley, Muzaffarabad, and Rawalakot.
