New Working Hours Announced for Ramzan 2026

ISLAMABAD: The Government of Pakistan issued revised working hours of passport offices across the country during the holy month of Ramzan.

In addition to this, the government has also communicated the information pertaining to the passport fee.

The new schedule will be effective for the Regional Passport Offices (RPOs), the Executive Passport Office, and the Passport Processing Counters.

Ramzan Office Timings

According to the official notification, the timings observed from Monday to Thursday are as follows: the token issuance and public services hours will be observed between 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. However, overall office working hours are going to be looked after from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

On Fridays, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM, public service and tokens of service will be available. Office employees will be performing their duties from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. A prayer break from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM has been scheduled during the Ramzan month.

It was stated by the authorities that these timings for Ramzan would not be applicable to RPO G-10/4 Islamabad, RPO Garden Town Lahore, RPO Awami Markaz Karachi, and NADRA Mega Centers, as they would continue to operate on the existing timings.
