One dead, three injured in attack on FWO vehicle

GILGAT: Unknown suspects attacked a Frontier Works Organization (FWO) vehicle in Tangir area of ​​Diamer, resulting in the death of the driver and injuries to three personnel, including an officer.

After the attack, the injured personnel were immediately shifted to the Regional Hospital Chilas, where an emergency has been imposed.

Caretaker Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Justice Retired Yar Muhammad has strongly condemned the incident and said that Fitna-ul-Kharij are making a sinister attempt to destabilize the country.

He said that strict action will be taken against the terrorists and they will be brought to justice and made an example of.

Caretaker Interior Minister Sajid Ali Baig has also condemned the attack and announced strong measures to eradicate terrorism.

Caretaker ministers have also prayed for the high rank of the martyred driver and the speedy recovery of the injured personnel.
